easyauth.ch is a 2-factor authentication system that can be easily deployed in any school and works completely without a mobile phone - no authenticator app or SMS required. It was specially developed for schools because it doesn't require an external device and is so easy to use that even the youngest students can operate it intuitively.

Instead of a confirmation on the mobile phone, students are asked for a code, e.g. "H2", after entering their password. Similar to the well-known game "Battleship", they find this on their personal code card:

With the self-service app, you can even generate and print the required code cards yourself or replace them if lost. You only need the email address and OID of the students connected to the Microsoft account.

  • Self-service (for individual schools)
  • Managed Service (for school associations and cantons)
